Private Landscaping

Bloomingdale Nurseries Ltd.’s private landscaping division is successfully managed by Donald Wilson HND H.

Donald completed his studies at Greenmount College and brings to the company a wealth of experience and an eye for design and build that our clients enjoy.

Initial meetings involve discussing the potential and opportunities presented by the site. Clients will be asked to describe their requirements and will be offered suggestions and options to transform their gardens into a personal space reflecting their taste and lifestyle.

All matters such as soil type, drainage, hard landscaping requirements, plant preferences/suitability, and lighting requirements, and of course budget will be taken into consideration.

Plans can then be drawn up, if required, and clients will be presented with written quotations showing options were available before any works commence.

Bloomingdale Nurseries Ltd do not agree with hidden extras! If alterations/additions are requested by our clients they will be given a further written quotation before we proceed with these works.


Tip for Clients:

Don’t wait for the first throws of spring before deciding that you would like your garden landscaped for the summer. Reputable landscape contractors usually have a long waiting list and you may be disappointed if you leave it too late in the season to contact us.

A good time of year to start planning your new garden is Autumn/Winter. Over the winter months plans can be drawn up, you will have time to consider your options and then you’re start date will be booked in plenty of time (weather permitting!) for the project to be completed for the summer months.
